Join Melissa as she takes a “brain based” approach to moving and feeling better. This 3-hour experiential workshop will take a deep dive into the “software” of our nervous system and how it controls the way we move and feel. You’ll learn about the emotional aspect of movement and how “listening to your body” is tricky and doesn’t tell us the whole story.
You’ll also learn how pain is fundamental to your health, function and survival and how reframing your experience of it is the first step to moving and feeling better. Finally, you’ll discover how fundamental movement skills can be easily developed through a playful and curious yoga practice!
The workshop is open to all levels of experience, and teachers who complete it will receive 3-hrs CEC's with Yoga Alliance.
